When the creators colored the pages for the original story they issued a revised trade paperback, and they decided to issue a hardcover release of the color version as well. The first book, however, was originally relased in 2002 as a black and white edition. Book 1 is the only book of the series to have two hardcover editions the limited HC is released simultaneously with the original trade paperback. It is the limited edition hardcover published in 2009.
